Search Track

Loggin in

For this demonstration we have provided the following sign-ons:

User ID
Password
Type of Party
DEMO1 DEMO1 'Principal Client' (may be different from Consignor or Consignee)
DEMO2 DEMO2 'Domestic Party' (Shipper if Exports, or Importer if Imports)
DEMO3 DEMO3 'Overseas Party' (Consignee if Exports, or Consignor if Imports)
DEMO4 DEMO4 'Overseas Agent' (an overseas partner).

Once you have logged on to WebTrack, you will find the facility very simple to use, and help is available at any point. We hope you enjoy your visit !

Main Menu
If you know the number of the consignment you wish to track (choices shown below) you should click on the tracking option.
If not, you should click the search option. The search option can also be used to generate reports

Tracking a consignment.
You can search for a particular consignment by:

Consigment Number
Your reference number
Master air waybill number
Bill of lading number
Tracking reference

To track a consignment enter the number in the reference box and check the type of number you have entered from the list shown and hit "Track it!". If the consignment is not found you will be informed and given the opportunity to try again.
If none of the required numbers are known you will have to search for your consignment.

Entering your search criteria
Several fields have been provided to narrow down your search.
You can fill in as many as you like to receive a focused list or leave all of them blank.
A blank set of criteria will return a list of every consignment with which you have some sortof commercial involvement, please bear in mind that this list may be very large and hencemay take considerable time to generate and download.

Search results
A categorised list of results is generated from your search criteria and displayed in the form of a large table.
This table will often be quite long and usually wider than your screen (the scroll bar at the foot of the screen will let you see the whole picture).Customers may tailor this list to their own requirements by selecting from a list of available headings.
The tracking reference (left hand column) in this list acts as a hyperlink to the Tracking Details page for that particular consignment and can be clicked with the mouse.
This number can also be entered into the reference number from the tracking page to achieve a similar result.

Tracking results
The results are displayed in two ways.

If you have tracked a single consignment from the tracking screen the consignment will be displayed in the main window with options for tracking and searching.

If you searched for consignments, you will see a list of matches with button links to each consignment. Pressing these buttons will spawn a new window.
This new window can be resized and scrolled but if you click inside the window or on any other part of the screen this window will vanish.
This feature allows you to easily look at the details for each consignment on your list by merelyl clicking on each button.

This page displays the details of the consignment you have searched for or tracked. This level shows thehighest detail for your consignment.
From this page you are given the options to track another consignment or return to the main menu.
